In GemCraft: Chapter One – The Forgotten, you play as a young wizard with a big mission: to protect the land from a swarm of monsters. These monsters are unleashed by a powerful wizard in the east, and they’ll keep coming unless you use magic gems to stop them. Your job is to create different types of magical gems and place them in towers, so they can attack the monsters along their path. Every gem has unique abilities—some might slow down enemies, others can deal extra damage or even weaken a monster’s defenses.
As you play, you’ll need mana, a type of magical energy, to create and upgrade these gems. Mana slowly builds up over time and increases when you defeat monsters. You can combine gems to make them stronger or even use them as bombs against big groups of monsters. The game gets trickier as you go, with tougher monsters appearing and challenging you to come up with better gem combinations and strategies.
Each level has different challenges, so you’ll want to keep experimenting with where to place your towers and which gems to use. As you progress, you earn experience points and skill upgrades, making your wizard even stronger. This gives you more options to try out new tactics and gem setups. Winning also unlocks amulets and special achievements that help you in tougher battles, making every victory feel rewarding.
